  • ISBP with field terminals can be mounted and prewired in the cabinet without an intrinsic safety module being installed and before the signal type for a specific channel has been established.
  • Intrinsic safety barriers are automatically detected by the N-IO via an integrated Barrier ID.
  • The ISBP is the same height as the standard Yokogawa N-IO Base Plate to enable a standard cabinet design and layout and maximize cabinet spacing.
  • Backplane design enables 20% higher cabinet density – up to 6 ISBPs per row compared to 5 with other solutions.
