termination board for Yokogawa’s new N-IO devices for the CENTUM VP integrated production
control system and ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system (SIS).

- ISBP with field terminals can be mounted and prewired in the cabinet without an intrinsic safety module being installed and before the signal type for a specific channel has been established.
- Intrinsic safety barriers are automatically detected by the N-IO via an integrated Barrier ID.
- The ISBP is the same height as the standard Yokogawa N-IO Base Plate to enable a standard cabinet design and layout and maximize cabinet spacing.
- Backplane design enables 20% higher cabinet density – up to 6 ISBPs per row compared to 5 with other solutions.
